在家里种绿豆芽菜

绿豆芽,即绿豆的芽。绿豆发成绿豆芽以后,不但其清热解毒的效用不变,在发芽过程中,维生素C会增加很多,而且部分蛋白质也会分解为各种人所需的氨基酸,可达到大约绿豆原含量的七倍,所以绿豆芽的营养价值应该比绿豆好。

中医认为,绿豆芽性寒,味甘,不仅能清暑热、通经脉、解诸毒,还能补肾、利尿、消肿、滋阴壮阳,调五脏、美肌肤、利湿热,适用于湿热郁滞、食少体倦、热病烦渴、大便秘结、小便不利、目赤肿痛、口鼻生疮等患者,还能降血脂和软化血管。

在家里种植绿豆芽菜非常容易,而且种出来的豆芽菜既营养,没有任何添加剂,可放心的吃。种植的过程也蛮享受的,特别是见到自己种的豆芽菜长出来后,那种感觉的确是挺满足的。

先用清水把绿豆冲洗干净。再把洗好的绿豆重新泡入清水里泡半天,等绿豆涨开以后,把水倒掉后,装在合适的容器里,用纱布盖好,放置在黑暗、阴凉处。

豆芽容器要放在空气流通的地方,但是不能让阳光晒着,免得豆芽发绿变老。

糖煮青柠檬

青柠檬(lime),青柠,又称酸柑,果实特征是圆形,绿色的表皮光滑似橘,凑近闻也香味浅淡。其味极酸,含有丰富的柠檬酸,是一种东南亚菜肴烹饪中不可缺少的香辛调料。

青柠具有强碱性,被认为是治疗疾病的良药。止咳、化痰、生津健脾,且对于人体的血液循环及钙质吸收均能起到促进作用。含有大量维生素C和柠檬酸,可帮助消化,促进造血功能,提高肌体抵抗力,加速创伤恢复。它含有一种近似胰岛素的成分,会降低病人的血糖水平,对预防糖尿病血管病变以及糖尿病肾病都有一定的好处。

中医认为,柠檬味苦、无毒,具有止渴生津、祛暑清热、安胎、疏滞、化痰、止咳、健胃、健脾、止痛、杀菌等功能。吃青柠果或喝青柠汁,可以化食、解酒,排毒。

一向来脾胃有问题时,我们老家都有吃糖煮青柠檬的习惯。不久前妈妈刚好来新加坡,就叫她做老家的糖煮青柠檬个我们。方法很简单,大家都可试试自己做。

糖煮青柠檬做法如下:

材料:
1. 青柠檬:2kg
2. 糖:2kg
3. 盐:500g

把青柠檬浸泡1小时后抹洗干净晾干水份。


用小刀纵向划上几刀,然后按扁,把青柠檬的种子挤出来。

Green beans soup for detox and relieving summer heat

Also known as mung bean, green bean(绿豆lu dou) is a traditional food for Chinese people. Green beans soup is a delicious dessert and can cool the system and reduce huoqi (“fiery energy”), preventing malicious forces from penetrating the body. It is eaten to help dispel internal heat, clear away toxins, promote urination and relieve hot weather ailments and rashes.

According to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), the tiny green mung beans eaten as soup or congee can expel toxins. Since green beans are "cold" (yin), they help dispel internal heat, clear away toxins, promote urination and relieve hot weather ailments and rashes.

The dessert soup is made my soaking dried mung beans over night in water and then boiled with palm sugar and pandan leaf. The soup is clear and green. You can drink the soup and leave the beans.

If the purpose of you making the green bean soup is for detox, then cooking until the beans are soft and liquid is cloudy. Then eat the beans and the soup.

Mung beans are good for most people - most people have "neutral" constitutions. Although it is beneficial to our health, it is not suitable for those who has a "cold" (too much yin energy), for women who have white discharge, for women who are about to have menses or who are having menses. Young children and old folks can eat in moderate amount but not too regularly (detox at least once a month is a good thing to do). Also, as mung beans expel toxins, it may decrease the effectiveness of some medicine. It is advisable not to eat mung beans less than half an hour before or after taking TCM or Western medicine.

If you want to avoid the adverse effect of mung bean, instead of making green bean soup, you can cook green bean porridge. Wash the rice and green bean clean, then put them together in the pot with water. Boil until it becomes the porridge.

豆腐不可多吃,会伤脾胃

豆浆从液体变成固体的豆腐,必须加入石膏这种阴寒之物。阴寒之物吃多了必损脾胃阳气,伤后天之本。

一般来说,腹部憋胀、大便稀泻、食欲不振在中医属于脾虚、脾寒的范畴。由于豆腐性偏寒,胃肠虚证或寒证的人吃了它,自然会加重病情、引起腹胀和腹泻。

对于正常人来说,豆腐是一种很好的营养食品。但是,豆腐吃多了也会伤脾胃阳气,所以也不可吃过多。凡事要有个度,太过了就不好。食豆腐也是这么一回事。

香砂养胃丸 - 温中和胃作用的中成药

香砂养胃丸的功效为益气健脾、理气化痰。主要用于因寒湿阻滞,脾胃运化无力,消化机能减弱所致的消化不良,如食后腹胀、不思饮食、嘈杂不适、呕吐酸水、肠鸣便溏、四肢倦怠无力、气短懒言、面色萎黄等症。对于中气不运而导致的胃脘满闷或泛吐酸水等症状及大便时溏时泄、肠鸣、倦怠无力的湿阻脾胃的泄泻尤为适宜。

香砂养胃丸出自清·沈金鳌的《杂病源流犀烛》,“香砂”指的是木香和砂仁,木香理气调中止痛,砂仁化湿行气温中,合用具有化湿调中、理气止痛的作用,是治疗消化不良、积食、胃痛等脾胃病常用的一对药。

除了木香和砂仁外,这味中成药的其他成分还有白术、陈皮、茯苓、半夏(制)、香附(醋制)、枳实(炒)、豆蔻(去壳)、厚朴(姜制)、广藿香、甘草、12味中药组成。白术、茯苓补气健脾,陈皮、砂仁、豆蔻等温中化湿,枳实、厚朴、香附等加强了行气化湿的作用,所以香砂养胃丸适用于脾胃虚寒引起的消化不良、胃部不适或隐痛、吐酸水等症状。这类患者还有个特点是,容易感到手脚冰凉。因脾胃虚寒引起恶心吐酸水时,服用香砂养胃丸可用姜汤送服,能加强降逆止呕的功效。

服用香砂养胃丸期间不要吃生冷食物,因为生冷的东西能加重寒湿,不利于药效发挥,同时该药芳香温燥,如果出现胃部灼热,隐隐作痛,口干舌燥等热症表现的不宜服用本药。而且连续服用超过一周最好由医生指导。

强身健体的健身气功

健身气功是中国养生文化的瑰宝之一,是一种具有悠久的历史,以自身形体活动、呼吸吐纳、心理调节相结合为主要运动形式的中华民族传统体育项目。

目前流行的主要健身气功有四种:易筋经,五禽戏,六字诀和八段锦。中国国家体育总局健身气功管理中心组织多方面的专家学者联合攻关,集体编创了“健身气功·五禽戏”、“健身气功·八段锦”、“健身气功·易筋经”、“健身气功·六字诀”四套新功法,并于2002年底在北京通过了专家评审。

这四种健身气功的功效相近,可以调整阴阳、和畅气血、疏通经络、培益真气,使人强身健体,提高身体免疫力,适合各个年龄段的人习练。

五禽戏是汉代的著名神医华陀创立,是一种模仿五种动物动作和神态的功法。它结合了虎、鹿,熊、猿、鸟的活动特点和人体脏腑、经络和气血的功能编写的一套具有民族特色的气功功法。常做五禽戏可以使手足灵活,血脉通畅,还能防病祛病。

“易筋经”是活动肌肉、筋骨,使全身经络、气血通畅,从而增进健康、祛病延年的一种传统健身法。

“六字诀”是中国古代流传下来的一种养生方法,为吐纳法。它的最大特点是:强化人体内部的组织机能,通过呼吸导引,充分诱发和调动脏腑的潜在能力来抵抗疾病的侵袭,防止随着人的年龄的增长而出现的过早衰老。

“八段锦”是由八节动作组成的一种健身运动方法。全套动作精炼,运动量适度,其每节动作的设计,都针对一定的脏腑或病症的保健与治疗需要,有疏通经络气血、调整脏腑功能的作用。

健身气功新功法简单易行、动作舒缓、内涵丰富,对身心健康具有良好的促进作用,一直深受广大群众特别是中老年群众的喜爱,在帮助人们祛病健身、延年益寿等方面发挥了积极作用。

China to speed up TCM standardization

China will accelerate the establishment and revision of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) standards in order to promote the tradition overseas based on report on 10 Jan 2013 in Xinhua news.

Wang Guoqiang, vice minister of health and director of the State Administration of TCM, said at a national TCM work conference that the standardization of TCM will enhance its development and guarantee its quality. Wang said the Chinese Medical Association has established 195 standards regarding TCM thus far.

Official statistics indicate that the Chinese central government spent 3.34billion yuan (537.4 million U.S. dollars) to support TCM development in year 2012.
